I loved the spa facilities, very relaxing. Staff extremly helpful & friendly. The rooms are very comfortable - didn't want to leave ...
That fact that there is only one lift, could be waiting for awhile before it arrives. Apart from that this was a fabulous hotel & had a very enjoyable stay
spa was just perfect, room nice and big, breakfast was fine.just location is a bit hard to find. its was perfect for us cuase had a car and was looking for a short break away. but if someone doesnt have a car is almost impossible to get there.20m drive from nearest town.
The room was lovely and the bed very extremely confortable!! The Spa is brilliant especially the vitality pool and sauna. We had a back, neck, shoulder and scalp massage and it was fantastic! Would definitely go back to this Spa hotel!
This is a top class hotel where staff and facilities are making a brave attempt to survive the recession. The former are professional with a warm Irish disposition and a charming willingness to help. The facilities are excellent and it would be difficult to find fault. Perhaps there is a hint of financial strain where one or two minor flaws were left , but this is bordering on fastidiousness which I expect is the characteristic that persuaded one to go there in thre first place.
Very friendly staff, very good food, nice room, walk to lovely beach
Drink expensive, even minerals.
Comfort and quality spa and gym faclities
I loved everything! Service, food, room, spa, the hotel itself is just amazing! Thanks for a lovely stay!
Only thing was it was raining and i was on the 3rd floor was a bit noisey.. other than that cannot fault it!
very friendly staff, lovely room and food was top class but we thought the set dinner menu was a bit dear for mid week.
Fabolous hotel and very nice, friendly, staff. There was a lovely relaxed feeling to the place aswell. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away:) I have to say myself and my boyfriend were very happy with our stay there. Also the scenery around the area was beautiful.
I only stay for one night, so the golf was good although I thought service at the bar was slow checking in and out was also reasonable fast,
Prices in the bar were pricey.
The Spa, Golf Course, walk to the Beach and the Beach itself were excellent, all very relaxing and peaceful would definitely return.
We stayed in the houses and we thought the maintenance/housekeeping were not up to standard especially given that it is meant to be rated 5 star.
Decor, food, breakfast, spa, walkway to beach, friendliness, design of rooms
I liked almost everything about the Hotel except I thought evening meal in the resturant a bit expensive.
There was one thing I did not like and that was the heat in the bedroom and especially the douvet on the bed was far, far too heavy for the time of year. Maybe in winter it would have been OK.
We stayed in a 3 bed apartment which although could have been cleaner was beautiful and v. spacious. Bar food was good restaurant food same quality but overpriced. Small play areas for children and evening kids club which our 4 year old adored and looked forward to every day! Also nice to have separate spa area for adults.
The location was ideal for viewing the countryside, right by the sea and the golf course was well maintained.
Not sure about the 5 star status. The spa was lovely and the staff were very helpful but lacks some comfort features about the hotel.
